Paphos Podiatrist – Podopaediatrics

Podopaediatrics is a part of podiatry practice which focuses on children and the various foot problems that can affect them. Early podiatry intervention is important as unaddressed foot problems can become worse over time and can cause chronic pain or disability.

There are several foot problems that can affect children of any age and background, and can include things like tip toe walking and flat feet, or other, more general issues like ingrown toenails.

Your podiatrist will:

  1. Talk with the parent and the child regarding the foot problem.
  2. Ask about the child’s medical history, previous health problems etc.
  3. Examine the feet and assess the child’s walking and movements.

If you have a referral from another health professional, please let us know when you book your appointment.
